Sample Five-Year PhD Program
The doctorate in economics at the University of Oregon is designed as a five-year program for full-time students, but there is some variance in actual completion periods. Students in the doctoral program, after successful competition of the first four terms in the program, will be awarded a Master’s degree. Certain coursework is required; please contact the Graduate Coordinator or Master’s Director for more information.
