Professor Krystale Littlejohn’s new book: “Just Get on the Pill”

Sociology Professor Krystale Littlejohn’s just-released book, Just Get on the Pill, was reviewed in the Times Literary Supplement and Mashable. She was also interviewed about the book on NPR-Detroit, Jefferson Public Radio, and the Two Broads Talking Politics Podcast.  Krystale’s work is hitting home in terms of public impact on the current struggles for reproductive justice. Krystale wrote and published an op-ed with Ms. Magazine! The entire issue is worth a read, but Krystale’s op-ed examines Britney Spears’s battle with her conservator as a window into interrogating cis men’s regulation of women’s and birthing people’s bodies via contraception and abortion.  In another major media outlet, Krystale was interviewed at Salon.com about her research and current struggles for reproductive rights and justice.  To top the list, TIME magazine just published her article on the topic, explaining how prescription birth control is not a solution to abortion restrictions!
