Statement
Mike Urbancic joined the economics department in 2012 and still works as its only full-time non-tenure-track Instructor. Together with Professor Tim Duy he handles and oversees academic advising for the department's 1100+ majors. Mike currently serves as the Vice President for Non-Tenure Track Instructional Faculty Affairs for United Academics, the faculty union for the University of Oregon. Since 2013 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Duck Store. His interests include stargazing (when the weather allows), playing tabletop games, and writing song parodies.
